Austin Gets 5 Year Agreement To Host V8 Supercars Racing
Looks like the New (Still Under Construction) Circuit Of America race track in Austin,Texas will be hosting the “V8 Supercars” racing series. A Five Year deal was sign with the Australian based racing association on June 30th, with the first race being held in 2013. Circuit of America will host two races a year .
The series is home based in Australia and has seen a growth in popularity around the globe. The Ford Falcon and the Holden Commodore are the only vehicle models used for the race. These are the two most popular cars in Australia, and enjoy a consumer rivalry on the continent.
This is yet another feather in the cap for the new race facility which will also host the F1 Grand Prix and MotoGP.
